More projects with the December kit

The kit was perfect for a snow layout. I used the piant from the kit to add a frosty look to my clear embellishments.

Clear and metal embellishments and journal stamp are from my stash.

If you have some extra time and like hand stitching then this technique is for you. I attached the felt trim with the floss using multiple french knots.

November Kit Projects

I have enjoyed working with the Paper Trunk papers and other goodies in the November kit. Here are a few of the projects I have created with the kit so far.

A mini clipboard that can be hung from the wall or free standing. Sticker is not included with the kit.



A quick and easy cover for a plan notebook.



A coordinating holiday gift set that I like to make for teacher gifts. I made two identical sets for my son's preschool teachers. Paint, flowers and stamps are not included with the kit.


And I still have a lot of paper left over for layouts and other projects. If you have purchased the kit stop by our gallery and share your creations. We would love to see how you used the kit.

I have enjoyed working with the October kit. I really enjoyed working with the Spring colors and thought they were perfect for an Easter layout.




For each layout I make I try to use something from my stash. For this one it was my scalloped scissors that I have had since I first started scrapbooking over 7 years ago. Each Friday we have a use your stash challenge. After you complete the challenge post it in our gallery, we would love to see what you have created.

Friday's challenge at the Shakerbox is a Limited Supplies Challenge. Digi scrappers are welcome to join in too.

For this week, I am challenging you to use a tool on a layout or card that you haven't use in 3 months. Here is my example:

It has been about 3 months since I used the scalloped punch. This card also uses some of my scraps from the September Kit. If you take the challenge, post what you have created in our gallery, I'd love to see what you came up with.
