Monday Card Challenge

This Monday's card challenge is to dress up your card with some type of decorative edge. Feel free to use premade paper, scissors, punches or whatever else you can think of. When you get the challenge done post it in our gallery for all to admire. We would love to see what you have created.

This Monday's Card Challenge is to finish up any last minute Valentine's you still have left to make. Then they can be mailed in time for the holiday. Please post your creations in our gallery when you are done. We would love to see what you have created.

This Monday's card challenge is make a tall card, either 4x9 or 3 3/8x 6. Tall cards are easy to make and fit right into no. 10 and no. 6 3/4 envelopes that often have in our home for letter writting or bill paying.

After you take the challenge post it in our gallery, we would love to see what you've made.

You don't need any more inspiration!

It's Wednesday already! Time for another Do-it Digi challenge. Since we have just wrapped up an amazing online crop at The Shaker Box, there is more than the usual amount of inspiration in the gallery. For this week's Do-it Digi challenge, find a favorite in the New Year crop gallery and scraplift it!

Warm Up With a Glow

Baby it's cold outside and I can't wait for Spring! It's Wednesday again which means it's time for a Do-it Digi challenge at The Shaker Box.

This week we are trying to warm up with a glowing layout - first select your picture(s) - maybe a fire in the fireplace, a burning candle or Christmas lights (please don't taunt me by showing me a glowing sunrise or sunset over the beach). Now digitally add a glow to something else on your layout - the title, the photo or any other element.

Doodlerific!

Yes! It's "doodlerific" over at The Shaker Box! We've introduced our new CT members and the creativity continues to build!

For this week's Do-it Digi Challenge we are doodling on our layouts. There are lots of doodles out there or you can draw your own (you can use your mouse or tablet or draw on paper and scan). Use only photos and doodling for your layout (a background paper is optional).

Ready? A doodle doodle doodle, a doodle doodle doodle...

Do-it Digi at The Shaker!

I'm so excited that we will be welcoming in our new CT members at The Shaker Box! Lots of fun and inspiration to come! I am also excited to find out who our January digi sponsor is!

I almost forgot that today is Wednesday! That means it's time for the weekly Do-it Digi challenge!

Now that the holidays are officially over and we can get back into a routine, share your favorite Christmas gifts or holiday memories. Photos are optional, but you should use ribbon and some bling (journaling of course). You'll find examples in the gallery at The Shaker Box - come on over and check them out - post your layout while you're at it!

Anticipation of Christmas

Less than a week to go!

For this week's Do-it Digi Challenge, scan, photograph or digitally create a Christmas list or letter to Santa. You could also use a letter from Santa or a picture with Santa. Capture a child's anticipation of Santa's arrival.

The Gifts of Christmas

Wow! Only 13 more days until Christmas! That means we only have 12 more days to prepare right?! I hope to get my Christmas cards in the mail tomorrow and get started on my wrapping.

It's time for the weekly Do-it Digi Challenge at The Shaker Box. This week we are sharing digital gift ideas. For teachers this year my family is using the Fresh Potpourri idea that was featured in the December/January 2008 issue of Digital Scrapbooking magazine (it is on page 54).

I am not done designing my Christmas cards and I can't think of scrapbooking until that's out of the way! Even though I am doing them digitally, I want to do a few different cards. I do have a draft of one, but really need to get cranking on the others! I think I captured another picture to use today!

Well, it's Wednesday again so it's time for the weekly Do-it Digi Challenge. I know it's not very original, but since we are celebrating Thanksgiving this week in the US, do a layout that shows what you are thankful for. Be sure to use the word thankful or grateful on your layout. I have some thankfulness and gratefulness word art on my freebies blog this week if you are interested.

Friday Stash Challenge

This Friday's Stash Challenge invovles foam stamps. When these first came out I had to have them in my stash, I just thought they were cool. Lately I have let them sit on the shelf just collecting dust. It is time to dust off your foam stamps and use them with paint or ink. And don't forget to add something blue to your project. Stop by and post your project in our gallery, we'd love to see what you created.

Everything Old is New Again

Last week's do-it digi challenge we were using elements that we recently purchased (maybe from all of the Digital Scrapbooking Day sales).

This week I want you to look at your digi scrapping papers and elements to find something old to use! Be sure to post your creation in the gallery at The Shaker Box so we can leave you some love!

I started digi scrapping back in the fall of 2005. I have deleted a lot of stuff since then, but I know I still have a couple of the very first kits that I bought. This week I'm going to "dust them off" and put them to use!

Think you have to use the latest and greatest releases to get published? Think again! As I was thinking about those older kits, it dawned on me that the layout that I had published this year came mostly from those original kits!

Welcome to Wednesday and the Do-it Digi Challenge at The Shaker Box!

With all of the Digital Scrapbooking Day sales this past weekend maybe you purchased something new. For this week's challenge I want you to create a layout showing off your new purchases. If you didn't shop on DSD, just use something that you recently purchased.

I can't wait to use some of my new goodies and I can't wait to see what you create!

Fun and Fabulous Challenges!

This Friday's Limited Supplies challenge is to use stripe pattern paper, word/phrase sticker and leaves. There are lots of fun possiblities here for using up your stash, make a title out of word stickers or doodle your leaves. Post your creations in our gallery for all to admire.

Alli has also started a month long Alphabet challenge. Use your creations to fill up the alphabet but you can only use one letter per creation. I'm looking forward to trying to get all my letters filled up.

Get framed!! Inspire Me Challenge!

This week I was inspired by an article in an UK scrapbook magazine (it's called Scrapbook Magazine!) to use frames in layouts. Not just any old frame, but fresh and fun frames! I chose to do my framing with ribbon and another with chipboard shapes! The challenge is to come up with something unique to frame your photos in your layout! Visit the Inspiration Forum, there are lots of fun Can't wait to see what you come up with. When you are done, make sure to link your work back to the Members Gallery so that we can all oooooh and aaaaah over it!! (and of course, get inspiration from YOU!)
